Boiled Egg with Bird’s Nest and Chuanbei

Ingredients

Hockhua Bird’s Nest
1-3pcs
Chuan Bei (grind into powder)
3g
Eggs

Rock Sugar
40g
Half a glass of Milk or Coconut Milk

Methods

  1. Soak bird’s nest in clean water for 1 hour and simmer for 45 minutes.
  2. Cook rock sugar water used for soaking bird’s nest into sugar syrup. Add Chuanbei powder and milk (or coconut milk) and stir evenly.
  3. Crack eggs in evenly and remove excess bubbles.
  4. Pour bird’s nest into a small pot and add egg mixture, milk (or coconut milk) and rock sugar syrup in slowly. Heat the mixture a little and stir evenly.
  5. Divide mixture into four small bowls and boil for 6 to 7 minutes. Serve cold or hot.

Nourishes the lungs and spleen. Suitable for cough and phlegm.
